These electric tip dressers are intended exclusively for robotic welding gun applications integrated into fully automated processes. They are designed to be used and to dialog with the i-Box and a robotic bay. They are installed on a fixed height support.
Electrode tip dressers
Dressing the electrodes maintains good welding quality, allows the electrodes to be changed less frequently and improves productivity. It also avoids an increase in the diameter of the active face, an increase in the resistivity of the electrode and their pollution. It reduces the risk of poor weld point quality, ensures welding without increasing the welding current, the use of the same electrodes everywhere on the production line and machining of electrode shape directly on the tip dresser.
