This dressing bench is in the form of a self-dependent assembly and is used to dress the electrodes of manual welding guns. It can dress most of the electrodes used in the car industry.
Electrodes
Dressing the electrodes maintains good welding quality, allows the electrodes to be changed less frequently and improves productivity. It also avoids an increase in the diameter of the active face, an increase in the resistivity of the electrode and their pollution. It reduces the risk of poor weld point quality, ensures welding without increasing the welding current, the use of the same electrodes everywhere on the production line and machining of electrode shape directly on the tip dresser.
