ARO servomotors - a new manufacturing record!
ARO, the world leader in resistance welding, has once again increased its production of servomotors, which has exceeded 8,000 units in just 12 months, a new record.
This brings the number of motors delivered and in operation worldwide to over 55,000 units.
Jean-Yves David, President of ARO headquarters, France, said:
"This success results from our long-term strategy and over 20 years of work and innovation. As early as 1995, ARO was a forerunner in servo gun technology, equipping robot guns with third-party motors. Six years later we started developing our own range of servomotors to precisely meet the needs of our customers. Today, ARO is the only company offering water cooled motors with integrated force sensors delivering the best performance in the market. It is no coincidence that most automotive OEM’s rely on our servo technology to assemble their cars"
Compatible with all welding robots such as Fanuc, KUKA, ABB, Motoman, Kawasaki, Nachi, and Comau, and with integrated weld controllers such as the iBox, ARO's servomotors fulfill all types of "servo" welding solutions (guns and machines), and are also appreciated by some of ARO's customers who implement the motors into their own welding gun designs.
With its third generation of motors, ARO continues to deliver the very best in performance, reliability, cost and maintainability.
ARO is widely regarded as the world leader in resistance welding to the automotive industry. The ARO group is headquartered near Le Mans, in France, with regional locations in Germany, Spain, Belgium, Slovakia, the UK, USA, Mexico, Brazil and China. The company was founded in 1949 and today employs over 500 people. ARO is a member of the British engineering and industrial group, Langley Holdings plc
